The FlyTech Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing education, research, and innovation in the aerospace sector.

Acting as a Scientific, Technological, and Innovation Institution, the Institute promotes the development of scientific and technological projects, talent development, and the integration of society into the aerospace ecosystem.

With administrative and financial autonomy, we operate independently, guided by the principles of Law No. 10.973/2004 and Law No. 13.243/2016, ensuring our commitment to science, technology, and social impact.

      DESUITA CAMPELO

      President

      Desuita Campelo is the CEO of Venture-U, former VP of Embraer-X, and founder and President of the Foundation. She holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from UFPE and a master’s in Aeronautical Engineering from ITA, with over 20 years of experience in aerospace innovation and sustainable mobility. She leads multidisciplinary teams and strategies focused on developing critical technologies. With international credentials in operational safety (ITA-Embraer), innovation (IDEO), and leadership (MIT, Stanford, and LSE), she brings strategic vision, deep technical expertise, and a recognized ability to connect industry and academia for sustainable technological advancement in the aeronautical sector.

      LAYANE GODOY

      Marketing and Communications Director

      Layane Godoy leads Flytech’s Marketing and Communications department, responsible for its strategic positioning. With experience in data-driven communication, she develops campaigns aimed at institutional visibility, strengthening, and expansion in strategic markets.

      With a degree in International Relations from the Federal University of Goiás, Layane has built her career in companies in the technology, business services, and aviation sectors. She has solid experience in content marketing, SEO, social media, email marketing, and corporate events, always focusing on performance, results measurement, and innovation in communication channels.

      At Flytech, her work directly contributes to the connection between the brand’s values and the sector’s technological advances, promoting integrated communication aligned with market demands and the Institute’s growth objectives.

      ALEXANDRE MATOS

      Commercial and Open Innovation Director

      Alexandre Matos serves as the Commercial and Open Innovation Director, bringing over 14 years of experience in managing complex projects, digital transformation, design thinking, new business development, people management, and leading organizational change. With a strategic vision and impact-driven focus, he acts as an innovation catalyst, challenging the status quo and fostering environments conducive to experimentation and continuous learning.

      He was recognized as one of Brazil’s 30 Valuable Young Leaders in 2018 by Harvard Business Review Brazil and the startup Eureca!, an acknowledgment that highlights his career as an inspiring leader and promoter of significant transformations. Throughout his career, he has led high-impact initiatives in organizations such as BP – A Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo, where he worked as Executive Innovation Manager, driving open innovation strategies, cultural transformation, and the launch of innovation platforms like AEVO.

      Alexandre believes in the power of human connections and diversity to drive sustainable, relevant solutions aligned with the future of business.

      Chief Program Officer (CPO)

      Carlos Pascoal serves as Director of Educational Programs and Portfolio at Instituto FlyTech, leading the strategic and operational management of educational programs, learning pathways, innovation projects, and institutional services. With solid experience in managing complex projects, coordinating programs, and leading multidisciplinary teams, he bridges strategic vision with precise technical execution, ensuring quality, social impact, and sustainability.

      With a career marked by consistent delivery and a strong results-oriented approach, Carlos stands out for his ability to align organizational goals with practical and innovative solutions. Throughout his professional journey, he has led large-scale initiatives and managed multiple projects simultaneously, always emphasizing governance, risk management, resource efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

      ANA LÍCIA REIS

      Coordinating Advisor

      Ana is the founder of Plena Mente DHO and a specialist in organizational human development, leadership, and business transformation. With a strong academic background, she holds a degree in Languages, an MBA in Business Management, and specializations in Jungian Analytical Psychology, Systems Thinking, and Complexity, as well as certifications in Change Management and Conscious Business. She has served as a faculty member in the MBA programs at FGV and FAAP and currently works as a mentor for strategic leaders.

      As an Advisor, she contributes her expertise in change management, leadership development, and organizational culture, strengthening governance and the strategic alignment of institutions.

      WAGNER LEONCIO

      Deputy Advisor

      Wagner Leoncio is an aeronautical engineer with over 35 years of experience in systems engineering, aircraft development, and certification at Embraer. He served as Chief Engineer Office, leading technical assessments, risk management, and incident investigations, as well as developing strategic programs for talent attraction and development.

      A specialist in aircraft performance, he was responsible for strategic planning of performance technologies for commercial and military aircraft, covering everything from the conceptual phase to certification. He will contribute as a Scientific Advisor with a focus on innovation, systems integration, and knowledge management.

      HERMINIO DUQUE LUSTOSA

      Deputy Advisor

      Herminio Duque Lustosa is a strategic executive with over 20 years of experience in aerospace technology, innovation, and business development. He has worked as a Senior Manager at the Honda Research Institute in California and as Product Development Director at Embraer, leading projects in commercial aviation, eVTOL, and business aviation.

      Founder of Embrassol Solar Energy, he also has experience in renewable energy and industrial automation. An expert in governance, certification, and regulation in the aerospace sector, he will contribute as an Administrative Advisor with expertise in strategic planning, innovation, and risk management.
